B.S ReSub is a spectral tone shaping tool designed to add a perfectly fitting sub to almost any audio source. By combining pitch tracking and envelope following, this device acts as a versatile resynthesis tool. It intelligently generates a new sub layer that seamlessly follows the pitch and amplitude of your sound. While its main purpose is creating powerful sub-bass, it is also excellent for other tasks like complete resynthesis, adding overtones and autotune like pitch quantization.

Key Features:

• Resynthesis Engine: The core of the device tracks incoming audio to generate a coherent sub layer. Fine tune the pitch detection with the Trust and Smooth parameters for results ranging from tight and accurate to smooth and gliding.
• Morphing Waveform Generator: Move beyond basic sine waves. You can smoothly morph between Sine, Triangle, Saw, Square, and a Pulse Width Modulated Square to create the exact tonal character you need.
• Advanced Spectral Shaping: Use the Emphasis and Shaping controls to blend the resynthesized signal perfectly with the source. These tools use spectral expansion and masking to make the new layer sound fit perfectly to the input.
• Pitch Quantization: Lock the generated sub to a specific key and scale. You can set the scale manually or have it follow Ableton’s global scale automatically.
• Retune Your Source Audio: Activate the "Retune Dry" function to quantize the original input signal alongside the sub. This works as a kind of autotune effect, perfect for tuning inharmonic basses or creating new melodic ideas.
• Integrated Filtering: A built-in high-pass filter for the input signal prevents clashing low frequencies, while a low-pass filter on the synth keeps your new sub clean and focused.

Compatibility & Requirements

• Requires Ableton Live 12 Suite or Standard with a Max for Live license.
• This device is a Max for Live (M4L) plugin, not a VST plugin.
• If you are not sure if the device works on your system please try out the demo version before making a purchase.
• As a spectral processing device B.S ReSub will introduce some latency and might therefore not be suitable for use in a live environment.
